Converting certificates to specific formats

Use the cryptographic tools to convert a certificate alias to a specific output format and write it to a file.

About this task

You cannot convert a certificate that contains ECDSA keys. When the certificate contains ECDSA keys, the DataPower® Gateway returns an error.

Procedure

  1. In the search field, enter crypto.
  2. From the search results, click Crypto tools.
  3. Click the Convert Crypto Certificate Object tab.
  4. From the Certificate Name list, select the name of the certificate alias to convert.
  5. In the Output File Name field, enter the name of the output file. Use the temporary:///mycert.pub format.
  6. From the Output Format list, select the format of the output file.
  7. Click Convert Crypto Certificate Object.
