Configuring the API probe
The API probe defines the settings that you can use to troubleshoot the processing of assembly actions by the API Gateway.
About this task
To configure the API probe, provide the following settings.
- The maximum number of records to allow. The default value is 1000.
- The duration in minutes to retain the troubleshooting data. The default value is 60.
- The gateway peering instance to use for the API probe. This gateway peering instance synchronizes distributed API probe data across peer group members. If you do not want to persist data across a restart, you can store the data in memory.
Procedure
- In the search field, enter api
- From the search results, click API Probe Settings.
- Define the basic properties: Administrative state and descriptive summary.
- Specify the maximum number of records to allow. Enter a value in the range 1 - 10000.
- Specify the duration in minutes to retain the troubleshooting data. Enter a value in the range 5 - 1440.
- Specify the gateway peering instance to use for the API probe.
- Click Apply to save the changes to the running configuration.
- Click Save Configuration or Save changes to save the changes to the persisted configuration.
