Creating a batch by using Batch Preparation client

You can use the Batch Preparation client to create a batch faster than regular process. When you create a new batch, the fields show the values from the previous batch, so that the new batch can retain some fields, and you can change the data wherever required.

  1. Log in to Datacap Navigator.
  2. In the left pane, click Batch Prep. A new BatchPrep tab opens, which shows the Batch Preparation client.
  3. Specify the details in the attributes to create a batch.
You can use the Start Panel while creating a custom panel to specify the attributes to be displayed on the batch preparation page.
Note: The system attributes that are not allowed to change must be marked as read-only when you create a custom panel. For example, Page ID.
  4. If you want to process the next batch, click Finish and Continue, and if you want to submit the current batch and exit the BatchPrep client, click Finish.
