Preparing invoice images for processing on Taskmaster DotScan

You run the APT FlexID task on Taskmaster DotScan to prepare the invoice images for the processing that takes place in the Batch Profiler task. You can change the image size, orientation, sequence within the batch, and page type settings.

To prepare invoice images for processing on Taskmaster DotScan:

1. On the DevWorkstation, open Start > All Programs > Datacap > User > APT > 2 FlexID - APT.
2. At the Taskmaster DotScan login window, APT is displayed in the Application field.
3. In the User and Password fields, enter admin.
4. In the Station field, enter 1.
5. Click Login. The DotScan is in auto mode window displays the message click OK to run the next pending batch.
6. Click OK to open the IBM Datacap FlexID window. The images are displayed in frames on the window.
7. Click on the drop-down menu for the image and designate the page type of the image as Other, Main, Trailing, Attachment, or Doc Sep.
8. Click Next to move to the next image if all of the images are not displayed on the window.
9. Click Go to End to move to the last image in the batch.
10. Change the sequence of images in the batch by clicking the thumbnail of the image and moving it to the left or the right.
11. Click Add Before to add a separator page before the selected image.
12. Click Add After to add a separator page after the selected image.
13. Click Hold to put the processing of the batch on hold.
14. Complete the settings for the images in the batch and click Save and Exit, the APT Demo FlexID window closes. A FlexID.xml file that contains the Page Types you assigned in the batch ID numbered folder in \APT\batches.
15. When you complete all of your batches, close the APT Demo FlexID - DotScan window.
