The steps to install and configure IBM® Datacap
Taskmaster Capture include installing
components such as the Taskmaster Web client,
RV2, NENU, and Rulerunner.
The sample TravelDocs application that is delivered with Taskmaster provides you with
an easy way to confirm that you set up Taskmaster correctly.
To install and configure Taskmaster on a client server:
- Ensure that you meet the prerequisites that are detailed
in Installation and Configuration Prerequisites.
- Install the Taskmaster server
software component on the Server.
- Configure Taskmaster on
the server.
- Install Taskmaster Web on
the web server.
- Configure Taskmaster Web on
the web server.
- Install the Taskmaster client
software component, the separately licensed applications, and the
connectors for which you have licenses on the developer workstation.
- Copy the TravelDocs application from the developer workstation
to the server.
- Complete the Taskmaster Web server
configuration.
- Complete the configuration.
- Run the TravelDocs application to validate the server installation.
- Configure Internet Explorer on the developer workstation.
- Run Taskmaster Web client
TravelDocs to validate the web server installation.
- Install and configure the Taskmaster client software component
on a user's workstation.
- Install RV2 on the web server.
- Configure RV2 on the web server.
- View RV2 reports to validate the RV2 installation.
- Install Rulerunner on
the Rulerunner server.
- Configure Rulerunner to
run TravelDocs both single thread and multi-thread tasks.
- Run TravelDocs tasks to validate the Rulerunner installation.
- Configure Rulerunner to
run your application tasks.
- Install NENU on the developer workstation.
- Set up NENU application or actions on the developer workstation.
- Run NENU actions to validate the installation.
- Configure Taskmaster to
use Windows Authentication.
- Use Fingerprint Maintenance Tool.
- Install, configure, and test Fingerprint Service on FPServer.
- Update an application to use the Fingerprint Service.
- Configure and distribute the Taskmaster Web Client Upload Service.
- Install, configure, and test Taskmaster web services.
- Install, configure, and test Fastdoc Capture.
- Install, configure, and run APT.
