Creating the Data Gate on Cloud database and tables in Db2 for z/OS

You must customize and submit the DSNTIJAS sample job to create the database and tables for Data Gate on Cloud in Db2 for z/OS before you can synchronize data to Data Gate on Cloud instances.

Before you begin

Important: If you have installed IBM Cloud® for use with the same Db2 for z/OS system, then this database and the required system tables already exist. In this case, skip this task.

About this task

Important: This task must be completed before you create the Data Gate on Cloud stored procedures.

Procedure

  1. Copy and customize the DSNTIJAS sample job member in the <HLQBASE>.<SDSNSAMP> library according to your needs.
  2. Submit DSNTIJAS.
