Connecting watsonx.data and Data Gate on Cloud

To connect watsonx.data with Data Gate on Cloud, you can use one of the Presto connectors that watsonx.data provides.

Procedure

  1. In a web browser, go to https://www.ibm.com/products/watsonx-data and log in to your account.
  2. Expand the navigation menu and select Infrastructure manager to view the components that are set up on watsonx.data.

  3. Add a new database and enter the connection information for your Db2® Warehouse on Cloud backend. This creates a new database and catalog.
    See the following figure. The name of the database created in this example is BLUDB.

  4. Associate the new catalog with the Presto engine.
