Overview

IBM® Data Gate on Cloud is a cloud application that runs on Amazon Web Services. The product externalizes Db2® for z/OS® data so that this data can be accessed by other applications on the Amazon Cloud. A constantly running replication mechanism keeps the data current. Although not limited to this single use case, Data Gate on Cloud has primarily been designed for feeding Db2 for z/OS data into a data lakehouse for long-time storage and as a basis for extensive analyses and AI models.
