Configuring and deploying the viewer and modules

After installing the IBM Daeja ViewONE viewer and any add-on modules, you need to configure and deploy the appropriate software.

IBM Daeja ViewONE Virtual viewer is deployed as a Java™ servlet.
Configuring the annotations module
The ViewONE Annotations Module provides text and image annotations that users can add to documents.
Configuring the redaction module
With the ViewONE Permanent Redaction Server Module, users can add permanent redaction markups to any IBM Daeja ViewONE document. Redaction markups remove and block out any part of a page, for example to remove potentially sensitive or confidential information.
Configuring the document builder module
You can configure the document builder module, which you can use to edit a PDF or TIFF document.
Configuring ViewONE Office Module to use additional fonts
You can configure fonts that are used in Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint documents.

You can export the current viewer version and settings as a downloadable JSON file.

Using Apache Tomcat v10.0.x for IBM Daeja ViewONE Virtual
Migrate the compressed (JARS) files to make IBM Daeja ViewONE Virtual to work on Apache Tomcat 10.0.x versions.
Enabling the viewer add-on modules in IBM Content Navigator
If you use IBM Daeja ViewONE Virtual as your viewer in IBM Content Navigator, you must purchase and enable the add-on modules to view Microsoft Office files or implement permanent redaction.
