Using the viewer with the Classic design package
To manage documents in the viewer, you can use the buttons or the pop-up menu. The specific actions that are available to you depend on the configuration of the viewer for your application. You can also right-click some buttons to access more actions.
Opening documents
When you use the viewer on a website, you typically do not need to select a file because a
document is loaded automatically when the web page is loaded. If you need to open a file, click the
Open document button
to display a dialog box from which you can select an image or document file. Alternatively,
right-click the Open document button to enter the URL to an image file or
document file.
When a document is loading, the Open document button is the only one that you can use, and all other icons in the viewer are unavailable.
You can cancel the loading of the current document by clicking this button and opening a new document.
Saving documents
If the current document is a single file, click the Save document button
to save the file to your local disk, which downloads the original document.
If you constructed the document in the viewer from several source documents with the
page<n> parameter, then the viewer constructs this file as a PDF.
