Documents loading and options

You can use this API to perform basic operations with documents and or retrieve basic information.

searchAndHighlightText
A JavaScript API that searches and highlights the text in PDF document.
openFile(String filename, int page)
Specifies the file name and initial page of the document to be viewed.
closeDocument()
Closes an open document. When this method closes an open document, the method also resets annotations and background images.
getImageHeight()
Returns an integer that represents the height of the image that is displayed in pixels.
getImageWidth()
Returns an integer that represents the width of the image that is displayed in pixels.
getNumPages()
Returns the number of pages in the current document as an integer.
getPage()
Returns the number of the current page as an integer.
setPage(int page)
Sets the current page to the integer that is specified by the page parameter.
nextPage()
Displays the next page in the document, which means the current page + 1.
previousPage()
Displays the previous page in the document, which means the current page - 1.
firstDoc()
Opens the first document in the series of multiple documents that are loaded into the viewer.
nextDoc()
Opens the next document in the series of multiple documents that are loaded into the viewer.
getDocIndex()
Returns the index value of the currently viewed document in the series of multiple documents that are loaded into the viewer.
getYResolution()
Returns the Y resolution of the current page. If no document is loaded, this method returns -1.
getBrightness()
Returns the current brightness setting as a percentage 0 - 100. This method is not supported in Internet Explorer.
getContrast()
Returns the current contrast setting as a percentage 0 - 100. This method is not supported in Internet Explorer.
getLuminance()
Returns the current luminance setting as a percentage 0 - 100. This method is not supported in Internet Explorer.
setContrast(int percent)
Sets the contrast of the image that is displayed where the value represents a percentage 0-100. The value 0 indicates the minimum contrast and the value 100 indicates the maximum contrast. This method is not supported in Internet Explorer.
setLuminance(int percent)
Sets the luminance of the image that is displayed where the value represents a percentage 0 - 100. The value 0 indicates the minimum luminance (dull) and the value 100 indicates the maximum luminance (bright).This method is not supported in Internet Explorer.
exportDocument(documentURL, annotationURL, callback)
Use this method to generate a PDF document from the current document.
exportDocument(documentURL, annotationURL, callback, tiffOutput)
Use this method to generate a PDF or TIFF document from the current document.
exportSettings()
Exports the current viewer settings to a JSON file. This method has overloaded versions that provide flexibility in how the settings are exported and how the results are delivered.
getDigitalCertificates(callback)
Retrieves the digital certificates embedded in a PDF file.
getPDFTableOfContents()
Retrieves the table of contents / bookmarks in a PDF file
