EMPTY marker

The EMPTY marker indicates that no annotations are present in the document when annotations are saved. In this situation, IBM Daeja ViewONE returns a file with just [EMPTY] inside.

When an annotations definition file is loaded, it must contain either annotation definitions or the [EMPTY] marker. If it does not, then an error message is displayed and the document is not shown.
