Information required by the installation program
The file that you download to install contains a the IBM Daeja ViewONE Virtual edition installation program and the add-on modules that are supported for that edition. When you run the installation program, you must indicate the modules for which you have the license. Before you run the installation program, you need to ensure that you have this information available.
The following information is required by the installation program:
- Environment
- You must know whether you are installing either to a production environment or to a nonproduction environment. A nonproduction environment is a development or test environment that is used for tasks such as development, testing, performance tuning, fault diagnosis, internal benchmarking, staging, and quality assurance activities that are related to using the viewer.
- Entitlements
- You must know which of the add-on modules that you license entitles you to use. The following
modules are available for IBM
Daeja ViewONE Virtual:
- ViewONE Office Module
- ViewONE Permanent Redaction Server Module
- Installation directory
- You must know the directory in which IBM Daeja ViewONE software is to be installed. By default, the software is installed in C:\Program Files\IBM\Daeja ViewONE_Virtual.
