Batch–Ensure that the first record is a log label record and
then rerun CICS VR.
Remember to restore the VSAM data sets from the backup copies before resubmitting
the job.

Online–Examine the log. If it is invalid, deregister it. Restore
the VSAM data sets from the backup copies and resubmit the recovery job.
