SRVE0255E errors occur when logging in to the GUI
You might receive SRVE0255E error messages, when you display the Copy Services Manager Login panel.
Problem
The following error messages might appear when you navigate to the Copy Services Manager Login panel:
SRVE0255E: A WebGroup/Virtual Host to handle /CSM has not been defined.
SRVE0255E: A WebGroup/Virtual Host to handle 9.155.66.58:9443 has not been
defined.
SRVE0255E: A WebGroup/Virtual Host to handle 9.155.66.58:9443 has not been
defined.
This error occurs when the installation path is too long. The installation logs generate a java.io.FileNotFoundException error.
This error can also occur when the file is missing from the installation.
Action
Perform these steps to resolve this issue:
- Ensure that the URL was entered using the correct case (for example, https://localhost:9559/CSM).
CSM
must be spelled in uppercase. - Uninstall and then install Copy Services Manager again using a shorter path name.
- Run the SMP/E installation and the IWNINSTL job again.
