Copy Services Manager no longer detects events for FlashSystem/IBM Spectrum Accelerate sessions

This condition can occur when an upgrade takes place on a FlashSystem/IBM Spectrum® Accelerate or when a FlashSystem/IBM Spectrum Accelerate is reconfigured. For example, the FlashSystem/IBM Spectrum Accelerate is rebuilt.

Problem

Events for FlashSystem/IBM Spectrum Accelerate sessions, such as changes to the session states, are not shown in the Copy Services Manager graphical user interface (GUI).

Action

If a FlashSystem/IBM Spectrum Accelerate upgrade occurred, restart the Copy Services Manager server.

If a FlashSystem/IBM Spectrum Accelerate reconfiguration occurred, complete the following steps:
  1. Remove the connection to the FlashSystem/IBM Spectrum Accelerate in Copy Services Manager.
  2. Add the connection to the FlashSystem/IBM Spectrum Accelerate in Copy Services Manager again.
