Session status icons

The Copy Services Manager GUI uses icons to represent the status of each session.

The following table describes each session status icon.

Warning For Metro Mirror, Global Mirror, and Metro Global Mirror, the session might have volumes that are being synchronized or are about to be synchronized, with no suspended volumes. For FlashCopy®, the warning status is valid only after the start command is issued and before the flash. This warning status means that the session is either preparing or is ready for a flash command but targets do not yet have a consistent copy.

If a HyperSwap® session is degraded, which means it is enabled on one or more sysplex members and disabled on at least one sysplex member, then the session is in a warning state.

  • A volume is not copying correctly
