Create JKS file and import the CA into the JKS

About this task

To create a JKS file and import the CA into the JKS, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. Start iKeyman, as shown in Figure 1.

  2. Create a new database file (Figure 2).

  3. Select JKS as the database type, enter a name for the JKS file (Figure 3).

  4. Choose a new password for the database (Figure 4).

  5. Select Signer Certificates (Figure 5).

  6. Add the certificate for the new CA (Figure 6).

  7. Locate the certificate (downloaded in Download the certificate), as shown in Figure 7.

  8. Open the certificate (Figure 8).

  9. Confirm the certificate (Figure 9).

  10. Enter a label for the certificate (Figure 10).
    This label can be anything that you choose.
