Enabling and accessing Risk Manager

The basic features of IBM® Security Risk Manager are available to all IBM Cloud Pak® for Security users. You must purchase a license to use the advanced features and capabilities.

Procedure

  1. If the Risk Manager applications are disabled, complete the following steps to enable them:
    1. On the home page, click the Menu icon.
    2. In the General settings section, click Licensing & usage.
    3. To use the basic features, enable the Risk Manager application.
    4. To use the advanced capabilities, enable the Risk Manager Advanced application.

      To enable the Risk Manager Advanced application, you must have admin role access that is assigned to the Licensing & usage service. For more information about assigning role access, see Assigning access roles.

  2. To access the Risk Manager application, complete the following steps:
    1. On the home page, click Risk Manager.
    2. Alternatively, on the home page, click the Menu icon.
    3. In the My applications section, click Risk Manager > Risk Dashboard.
  3. To access the operational modules, complete the following steps:
    1. On the home page, click the Menu icon.
    2. In the Application settings section, click Risk Manager.
