Apps only private repository
You can configure Edge Gateway to use
a repository of your choice instead of the default, quay.io
. Many customers need to
use their own private container repository, also called a registry, for Edge Gateway. One key use includes the building and
referencing to their own apps.
Many different solutions are available for both on-premise and cloud-based container repositories.
Cloud-based solutions:
- IBM Cloud
- Quay.io
- Github
- Azure
- JFrog
On-premise solutions:
- Quay.io
- Github
- Docker
- Harbor
- JFrog
Note: If you installed the standalone variation of Edge Gateway, you must install the
jq
package from the EPEL (Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux) before configuring a private
repository.
