Configuring inbound email for a SOAR MSSP deployment
To configure inbound email connections for a SOAR MSSP deployment, you must configure mailbox settings in the Provider account, push the configuration to the Standard accounts, and configure ports and server settings in the Standard accounts.

About this task
Inbound email connections are used in the Standard accounts. You can configure different email connections for each Standard account. This involves adding mailbox settings in the Provider account, including setting the name, API name, and description for the mailbox. You must then configure the connection details in each Standard account. Configuring inbound email connections for non-MSSP accounts is described in the System Administrator Guide.
- In the Provider account, go to the Organization tab and click Inbound Email Connections and create a new inbound email connection and set the mailbox name, API name, and optionally, a description. You do not configure the Connection Details in the Provider account, so this section is disabled. Refer to Configuring an inbound email connection for information about configuring email connections.
- Push the configuration, as described in Pushing configuration changes.
- Configure the Connection Details settings for each email connection in the Standard accounts. You cannot change the mailbox settings that you specified in the Provider account.
