Container Mode Preferences

Procedure
  1. Navigate to Settings > Vaults > Container Mode.
  2. Select any of the following Container Mode Preferences, if desired:
    • Require DNS compliant names
    • Create only container vaults.

      New vaults will be container vaults. If standard vaults are required, disable this option. This option will have no effect for vaults created on incompatible storage pools or vault templates.

    • Create, configure, and delete containers using only the Service APIs.

      When enabled, containers cannot be created, configured, or deleted through the IBM Cloud Storage Object API.

  3. Click Update.

Storage Account Portal

Use the portal to create and delete storage accounts, credentials, and containers.
Note: You must be assigned the Storage Account Administrator role to access the portal.

Container Mode System Vaults

You can edit the Service Vaults.
