storage help

Lists all commands or shows help for a specific command when given a command.

storage fail {drive}

Fail a drive. Can specify a single drive. Failing a drive allows the data to be migrated to other drives. It reduces rebuild time on the replacement drive. Remove the drive after the fail completed to ensure that migration has taken place. Status updates are available in the Manager Web Interface.

storage list

Lists drives and status. Can also specify a single drive.

storage quarantine {drive}

Takes a drive offline (quarantine) when potential issues are identified to allow for more diagnostics. The drive then can be resumed or failed.

storage resume {drive}

Resume a drive from quarantine.

storage dispose {bay}

Moves slice information from a pulled drive to other drives within the Slicestor Node.

storage reset {drive}

Reformats a foreign drive, that is, a drive from another Slicestor Node.
