Faulty power cords
Check that you have correctly cabled the system. Contact IBM support for replacements if:
- Power cables are missing or damaged.
- Plugs are incorrect.
- Power cables are too short.
Controller Node does not recognize the enclosure system
- Verify that the interface cables from the enclosure to the host computer are fitted correctly.
- Verify that the LEDs on all installed drive carrier modules are on (green).
- Verify that the drive carrier modules have been correctly installed.
- Check any visible SAS indicators (Controller Node HBA Module, Disk Enclosure, and IOM Control Module, if applicable).
- Check HBA BIOS for SAS target visibility.
- Verify that ClevOS has been installed correctly.
