The IBM Cloud Object Storage Notification Service can be used with IBM Spectrum Discover or your own Kafka environment.

When performing a conversion of a vault to container vault where notifications are configured, any objects written or deleted to any existing or new containers in the vault will result in a notification without the need for a topic to be configured on the container.

Note: The Notification Service is not supported for mirrored vaults, vault proxies, or vaults that are involved in migrating data.
