Exporting a current container usage summary report for system level

You can export a current container usage report at a system level as a CSV file.

About this task

Note: To export an aggregate usage summary report for all storage accounts, see Exporting an aggregate usage summary report.

To export a usage summary report for a specific storage account, see Exporting a container usage summary report.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Settings > Vaults > Container Mode
  2. Click Configure in the Storage Account Portal box.
  3. Click Usage Summary this opens Export Usage Summary box.
  4. Default option is Current Usage, click on Export to initiate report export.
  5. Open or Save the CSV file.
    If saved, a CSV file containing the Storage Account Usage Container Report is written to your default download folder. The info is a CSV export containing current container usage where each row contains:
    • Account ID
    • Provisioning code
    • Container name
    • Bytes used (current point-in-time)
    • Number of objects (current point-in-time)
      Note: Same data is available using the Manager REST API in CSV/JSON/XML formats.
