Configuring Replication
Before you begin
Note: You must upgrade all nodes to ClevOS release 3.19.5 or newer
Procedure
- Click the Configure tab.
- Click Storage Pools in the navigation panel.
- Click the link of a Storage Pool to display the Storage Pool: <storage-pool-name> page.
- In the Replication section, click Configure to display the Replication: <storage-pool-name> page.
- Click Change in the Replication section.
- Click Enable replication and click
Update.
- Optional: In the Certificate PEM section, add
any root CA certificates (in PEM format) that are required to connect to the Access Pool servicing
the Vaults from this Storage Pool. Example use cases:
- if Access Pool level TLS certificates are configured
- if Access Pool is behind a load balancer or proxy that is configured to terminate TLS connections with a private CA issued certificate
- Optional: Configure the sync rates
- Click Change Syncing in the Replication Syncing section.
- Change the rate values as desired and click OK.Note: Background scanning can also be disabled using this interface.
- Optional: Enable/Disable object expiration on multiple vaults.
- Select desired vaults in the Vaults tab.
- Click Change in the Vault Settings section in the Vaults tab.
- Select Enable or Disable and click Update to apply that setting on selected vaults in previous page.
- Optional: Configure the work distribution.
- Click Change Distribution in the Syncing Work Distribution section in the Access Pools tab.
- Click Customize the scanning work distribution. New access pools must be manually configured.
- Adjust the sliders or manually enter a value for each access pool. The total distribution must equal 100%.
- Optional: In the Certificate PEM section, add
any root CA certificates (in PEM format) that are required to connect to the Access Pool servicing
the Vaults from this Storage Pool. Example use cases:
- Click Update.
