Access pools
An access pool is a logical set of zero or more Accesser® nodes.
These are a few rules to keep in mind:
- Access pools can be assigned the same set of attributes, such as programming interface and access service port numbers, in aggregate instead of per device.
- An access pool can be deployed to a selection of vaults and vault mirrors in a system.
- An access pool can be removed from the system, but affects all deployed vaults and mirrors. A password prompt is required since delete is a non-recoverable action. However, it is possible to re-create and re-deploy the access pool if deleted.
