The IBM COS Small Disk Enclosure supports 2U
(rack space) disk drive enclosure that holds 12 low profile (1 inch high), 3.5 inch form factor
drives in a horizontal orientation - see the figures below.
Note: Each individual disk drive is hot
pluggable and replaceable on site.
