Feature impact and remediation

COS S3 Select feature can have a negative performance impact on the accessers since the querying and filtering of the object content (based on the user-provided SQL expression) is applied on the accesser devices which requires utilization of compute and memory resources. This can be remediated by rate limiting and throttling the COS S3 Select requests to a suitable value that is low enough to not have major performance impacts.
