Delete vault mirror

You may choose to break a vault mirror or to destroy a vault mirror.

There are two options to delete a vault mirror:
  • Break a vault mirror

    Breaking a mirror removes the relationship between vaults. The relationship cannot be reestablished.

    The vaults and object data are not deleted.

    You can choose one vault to be renamed and redeployed to the same access pool as the mirror. The other vault will not be redeployed to any access pool.

  • Destroy a vault mirror

    Destroying the mirror will delete the vault(s) and object data. This is a permanent action. There is no process to recover or restore the deleted vault(s) or mirror.
