Network interface ports
1 Gbps LAN LEDs
The LAN ports have two LEDs. One LED indicates activity when flashing. The other LED can be green, amber or off to indicate the speed of the connection, as shown in the following figure. See the following table for the functions that are associated with the connection speed LED.

| Color | Speed |
|---|---|
| Off | No connection or 10 Mbps |
| Green | 100 Mbps |
| Amber | 1 Gbps |
10 Gbps LAN LEDs
The 10 Gbps LAN ports have two LEDs. One LED indicates activity when flashing while the other LED is green to indicate the existence of the connection, as shown in the following figure. The location of these LEDs can vary depending on the NIC model.

Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI)
This network port allows remote administration of hardware. For a detailed description of IPMI, refer to the following Intel documentation.

Power supplies
Each power supply includes one LED with five states in the rear.
| LED state | Description |
|---|---|
| Off | No AC power to either power supply. |
| Amber | Power supply critical event causing a shutdown, failure, Overcurrent Protection, Overvoltage Protection, fan failure, AC out of range, or no AC power to this PSU (only for 1 + 1 configuration) |
| Flashing Amber | Power supply warning event where the power supply continues to operate: high temp, high power, high current, or slow fan. |
| Flashing Green | AC present/only five standby voltage (PSU off). |
| Steady Green | Output on and OK. |
Hard disk carrier
Each drive carrier has two LEDs, one to indicate activity (green) and the other to indicate status (blue/amber).
| Condition | Activity LED (Green) | Status LED (Blue) | Status LED (Amber) |
