Settings
The IBM COS Manager™ Settings menu is used to configure, set, or change settings and parameters related to the operation or performance of the system.
Attention: Any time a device is added or a vault, site, cabinet, or an administration
configuration is changed, the Manager device must be backed up by using the Backup and Restore
utility. Permanent data loss can occur if the Manager database becomes corrupted. Periodic backups
must also be performed to preserve historical statistics and log information. See Backup
Configuration in the Settings menu.
