Security
The IBM COS Manager™ Security application is used to manage user accounts, encryption keys and certificates, user access, groups, organizations, and security policy. The number of Accounts, Vaults, Groups, and Organizations is listed in parentheses, on their respective section title bars. Refer to the Security application for security policy, certificate management, and user privileges.
Click the Security link at the top of the screen to start the application. A summary of all accounts, organizations, and vaults is initially shown. Vault permissions of Authorized Users are displayed after a specific vault is selected.
Vault Deletion Authorization
Configure multi-user approval for vault deletion. If enabled, Vault Deletion Authorization prevents a single storage system administrator from being able to delete vaults through the Manager UI and Manager REST API. To delete a vault, request must be submitted and approved for deletion by another System Administrator within 24 hours of submission.
