New Capabilities

As Slicestor® devices age, they might need to be replaced.

The need to retain data still exists and needs to be transferred to replacement Slicestor® devices.

Note: Data evacuation from one Slicestor® device to another involves copying all data from the original Slicestor® device. Refer to the "Initial Setup" and "Approve Registered Devices" sections in the Manager Administration Guide (or "Identity Checking Rules" and "Use Cases" of the Device Registration Guide) for initial setup and approval of a new Slicestor® device.
