Editing Manager device HTTPS certificate chain

Edit IBM COS Manager™ device certificates.

About this task

Use separate certificates for web UI/API HTTPS access instead of the default IBM COS Manager™ device's internal certificates.
Note: The Private Key PEM is not displayed for security purposes.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Configure > Devices > Manager
  2. Click the link of a IBM COS Manager™ device, if necessary, to display the configure device page.
  3. In the Manager UI/API HTTPS Certificate Chain section, click Configure to display the Manager UI/API HTTPS Certificate Chain page.
  4. Paste PEM-formatted private key and certificate text into the corresponding Private Key PEM and Certificate PEM fields.
    1. To add more certificates, paste one after another.
    2. To remove a single certificate, delete the text for that certificate.
    3. To remove all certificates, delete all contents of the Certificate PEM field.
      The device defaults to it's internal certificate for the HTTPS.
  5. Click Update to update the certificates for the IBM COS Manager™ device.
