Adding an SMC device to an SMC Pool

Procedure

  1. Click the Configure tab.
  2. In the Navigation Tree, click the arrow beside SMC Pools to expand the SMC Pools subtree.
  3. Click an SMC Pool.
  4. In the Devices section, click Add Device.
  5. Enter the system administrator password.
  6. In the Devices section, select the device that you want to add from the list of SMC devices that are not already in the SMC Pool.
    Note: It is imperative that the device that is added has never been in an SMC Pool. Adding a device alters the distribution of metrics data.
  7. Click Add Device.
