Upgrading a Container
Containers cannot be upgraded through the Manager Web Interface. A Container must be upgraded on the server on which it runs.
Important: Appliance Containers created with container images prior to the release of
ClevOS 3.19.3 run as root. Since ClevOS 3.19.3, Appliance Containers run as non-root user. This
change results in different ownership of processes within the Appliance Containers, and of
files/directories in the container persistence directories. Upgrade of Manager Containers from
releases prior to ClevOS 3.19.3 to releases 3.19.3 or later requires creation of new container
persistence directories. Upgrade of Accesser Container from releases prior to ClevOS 3.19.3 to
releases 3.19.3 or later is not supported. Customers are required to deploy new Accesser Container.
Upgrade of Accesser Container from the release of ClevOS 3.19.3 to later releases is supported.
