Visualizing the device-pillar relationships

Below we see 15 Slicestor devices (represented as cylinders), each with 12 disks (represented by rectangular prisms). Each pillar (set of slices sharing the same IDA index) is uniquely color coded. The existing restriction that device set size must be a multiple of IDA width guarantees that each Slicestor device only holds slices for a single pillar of slices.
