Exporting a container usage summary report

You can export a container usage report for a storage account as a CSV file.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Settings > Vaults > Container Mode
  2. Click Configure in the Storage Account Portal box.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • In the Search field, enter the Account ID, Access Key ID, or Container Name to lookup a Storage Account. Click Search.
    • Click one of the storage account names from the lists on the Storage Accounts page.
  4. Click Usage Summary in the Containers section.
  5. In the pop up box, select , a Single Month, or specify a Custom Date Range.
  6. Open or Save the CSV file.
    If saved, a CSV file containing the Storage Account Usage Container Report is written to your default download folder. The info is a CSV export containing container usage throughout that date range where each row contains:
    • Account ID
    • Provisioning code
    • Container name
    • Metric name (example: "Byte Hours" or "Object Hours"
    • Day (yyyy-mm-dd)
    • Metric value for the given day
      Note: Same data is available using the Manager REST API in CSV/JSON/XML formats.
