Use cases

A company has LDAP accounts for employees who typically handle system configuration, maintenance, and investigations. With this feature, a company can allow their employees to log in to ClevOS devices using their local or LDAP credentials. The system administrator can set specific permissions for each employee and can keep a history of what the specific employee executed on the system.

Companies with or without LDAP systems can provide local account credentials in the Cloud Object Storage System for their employees to use to log in to devices.

Device access can be granted with default permissions for all devices, and at the site level. User permissions for the Manager device are set separately from other device permissions, since the Manager device holds some of the most important data on the system.
