Projects and submissions

A project represents the combination of a period and actuality. A project consists of a set of submissions.

Landing page
The landing page gives a quick overview of the upcoming submissions deadlines, the recent updated projects, and provide a quick launch to other capabilities.
Opening a project
When you open a project, a list of the submissions it contains is displayed.
Submissions
The submission status window displays a list of the submissions in a project.
Multiselect for company actions
You can perform actions such as lock, unlock, and set to ready on multiple companies at one time.
Consolidating a period and actuality
You can run a quick consolidation without changing the consolidation parameters or you can run a regular consolidation where you can change the consolidation parameters.
Creating a view filter
You can filter the submissions window to show only specific companies or combinations of company and group. Before you can filter the submissions window, you must create a view filter.
Viewing all consolidation jobs
You can access a list of consolidation jobs and their statuses from the submission status window.
Viewing recent consolidation jobs
You can quickly see consolidation jobs from the last three days.
Viewing Controller Web logs
You can access the import log files from the submission status window. These log files are for imports done in IBM® Controller Web
Viewing IBM Controller Classic import log files
You can view a summary of the log file for an import that was done in IBM Controller Classic.
Accessing Planning Analytics
If your administrator configured it, you can access your IBM Planning Analytics environment from IBM Controller Web.
Notifications
IBM Controller Web displays messages that indicate submission status changes and errors. These messages are called active notifications because they are triggered automatically by a user action.
