View Active Users

You can use this function to see which other users are logged on to IBM® Controller at the same time, which applications the users are logged on to and which database they are connected to.

It can be useful to know this if, for example, you want to use the system in single user mode and want to ask the other users to log off from Controller.

Procedure

  1. On the Maintain menu, click User/View Active Users. The View Active Users dialog box opens.
  2. A list of all users currently logged on to the IBM Cognos® applications is displayed. The list displays the user ID, the application the user is working with and the database.
