Components Used by IBM Controller

IBM® Controller is a web-based solution designed to address financial consolidation needs and to support statutory and management reporting requirements.

IBM Controller integrates easily into your existing infrastructure by using resources that are in your environment. Some of these existing resources are required, such as a Java™ Virtual Machine or other databases for the content store. Other resources are optional, such as using other security providers for authentication.

Installation of IBM Cognos Analytics is optional and only if you want Cognos Access Management authentication.

By default, the IBM Controller reporting components use the IBM WebsphereCognos® application server.
