Uninstalling the stand-alone Controller Client (ZIP installation)

This section applies only to installations performed using the ZIP package.

Procedure

Important: Do not manually delete the extracted folder to uninstall the application.
To uninstall the stand-alone Controller Client:

  1. Navigate to the extracted folder on your computer and double-click the uninstaller.bat script to initiate the uninstallation process.
  2. When prompted, type y and press Enter to confirm.

Results

Upon successful completion, the folder containing CCRRemoteClient64.zip will be automatically removed.
Note:

If the folder with the ControllerRemoteExcelLinkSetup_x64.zip file is not deleted automatically, please delete the folder manually. In case the register key is not cleared then there is a chance of getting an error message when you try to reinstall.

To ensure complete removal, check and delete any remaining registry entries. Follow these steps to manually remove the register entries:
  1. Press Win + R to open the Run dialog box.
  2. Type regedit and press Enter.
  3. Navigate to the following registry paths:
    • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins
  4. Look for the entry named Controller.ExcelLink.AddinModule under each path. If found, right-click the entry and select Delete.
