The following steps will guide you to register for IBMid.
Procedure
- Navigate to Sign up for My IBM account page. The Create your IBM account page opens.
- Fill the required fields present in the Account information section and click
Next. The email address that you specify in the form is your user name or IBMid.
- Enter the verification code to verify your email ID and click Create account. The IBMid multi-factor authentication enrollment page opens.
- Select your preferred verification method. When completed, the user account is created.
Results
Note: Users
actively working on any of the supported client applications (Controller Web, Classic, or Excel)
will no longer be redirected to the login screen upon access token expiry. As long as the user
remains active on a client, the session is refreshed automatically. Each client application's
session is tracked independently. If a user logs into multiple clients simultaneously and is active
on only one, the idle clients will still redirect to the login screen after the session
timeout.
