Change Ownership Information
You can change the ownership information in the Consolidation Structure area by clicking the Edit button.
The instructions below are applicable when a consolidation type is defined as manual.
Procedure
- On the Maintain menu, click Company Structure/Define. The Define Company Structure window opens.
- Select the relevant company code.
- Click the Edit button. A list box opens.
- Enter the last period with the old ownership information in the To Period text box in the relevant version you want to close regarding period and group.
- Click Add New Row.
- In the new row, enter the From Period from which the new ownership took place and enter 999999 in the To Period text box.
- Select the Parent check box if the company is a parent company in the defined group.
- Enter the consolidation method and owned and votes percentages.
- Click Save.
- Click Close to close the list box.
Results
After executing any changes in the company structure, always remember to Add New Row which will reflect “the change” and include entry 999999 in the To Period text box to maintain the existing limitation Read-Only Access Right assigned to this company in Company Security Groups (if the company had earlier Read/Write Access Rights after change in company structure, it will be switched into Read-Only). If the fixed date e.g. 201809 is added in the To Period without a row with 999999 in the To Period, then the company will be disconnected and appear as Not Connected to XX.
