The Controller Classic and Excel addin now allows you to add and select multiple server
connections so that you can access more than one environment. You can log on to
IBM® Controller.
Before you begin
To enable the multi server select, in the CCR.exe.config
file, set the
value of the SelectServer
flag to true. Note: By default, the value of the
SelectServer
flag is set as false.
Procedure
- Launch the Controller Classic application.
- The Select Server window is displayed.
Note: The default entry in the Select Server window is Default. This
Default entry points to the URL entered during the installation of Controller Client.
- To add a new server connection in the Select Server window
(optional):
- On the Select Server window, click New
button. The New Server Connection window is displayed.
- In the New Server Connection window, enter the
Name and URL.
- Click the Check button. The newly created connection is displayed in the select
server list.
- To delete a server connection from the Select Server window
(optional):
- From the Select Server list, click the server you want to
delete. The selected server is highlighted.
- Click the Delete button. The selected connection is deleted from the select
server list.
Note: You cannot delete the Default server from the server list.

Enter the user ID and password supplied by your
Controller Controller
administrator.
- If you are already logged in, a message displays that asks if you want to start a new
session.
Note: If you click Yes, then you will lose any unsaved data in your previous
session.
- Enter the actuality and period you want to use as default.
You can change the default settings from inside the system, in the Personal Defaults function.

Click OK. You are logged on to
IBM Controller.
Note: You can only run one
IBM Controller session at a time.
