Map Controller users to Active Directory users

When you use the Active Directory authentication method, you must create an association between the users defined in IBM® Controller and Active Directory users.

Before you begin

Important: The first user who logs on to IBM Controller using Active Directory authentication is automatically mapped to the Controller Administrative User, the named user defined by default in Controller. Associations between users can be created by any user who has the corresponding application permissions.

For more information about setting user rights and limitations in Controller, see User Rights in Using Controller Classic.
