The Contents of the Matrix

The matrix contains the following headings:

Column Heading	Description
Column	The parameters (field names in the database) that define an automatic journal and can be shown in the control table's columns, for example from account, to account, sign, and GM indicator. See Columns in Control Tables for Acquisition Calculations.
Show	Selected for the parameter in question to appear as a column in the control table.
Default	The default value to apply for the automatic journal as a whole. For example, the minority share journal has the default value M for the GM indicator, which means that the automatic journal will book the minority share to all accounts in the control table.
Header Text	The column heading displayed in the control table.
Mandatory	Selected for the parameter in question to be mandatory, which means that you cannot save the control table unless you complete this field.
